Rick Rivers, along with his wife Susie, has been in the florist industry over 25 years as the owners of A Floral Boutique Florist in Ormond Beach, Fl. They pride themselves on providing their customers with the highest quality of service available in the industry.
A former police officer, Rick has a passion for marketing and planning, as well as teaching the importance of these to his fellow florists. In the past Rick's seminar, The 7 P's: Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance," has been taught at the FTD National Convention and many State, local and private associations. A Floral Boutique was also featured in "Florist Review" Magazine in February of 2008 because of their excellence in Holiday Planning.
Rick's first book Blooming at the Top was published in the summer of 2009 and details Rick's start in the florist industry, the business values that he employs in day-to-day operations, and the valuable lessons he has learned over the years. The book concludes with 12 strategies to double your sales.

Rick and Susie have been married for 32 years, and together they have two children, Jessica and Jason.
